Difficult to find info and completely unintuitive.

App was great to track friends and see where everyone is. I didn’t even check all the other features but able to track your daily stats was a nice touch!

Doesn’t work. Logs you out, drains battery, etc. What’s to like?

Unnecessarily they take DoB for just signing up for an account (which is required for purchasing tickets). If one goes directly to counter no one cares about your name and date of birth. So unless some liability form needs to be filled in they have no business to ask for DoB at sign up. Same day Ticket prices are more for some reason over advance (as advance as prior day the book button doesn’t work in the app and one has to open the browser where it works without issues.

The apps ski tracking feature doesn’t work very well. It does not reliably keep track of your runs.

I have been going to and skiing MM Mtn for over 50 years. It has done nothing but improve in every way. McCoy Mid Mtn, outback chairs and eatery 13 and 14 are an E ticket ride to get to charging down Santiago Bowl!!! Forget Park City and Aspen!

I would appreciate a more specific detailed weather information 10 day forecast for McCoy station. Especially for spring we’re we need to know if temps got to freeze.

the old cameras a few years ago with in the app seemed to be much better quality and easier to use but maybe it’s just me

Don’t bother to download this app. It’s a bunch of information you can get on the Web. There’s no additional functionality here. I thought maybe it would show my tickets. I thought maybe it would show ski rentals I thought maybe it would show something but it shows absolutely nothing.

This needs to be added back to the app or I’ll be changing to SLOPES

Not correct to real time what’s the point? What’s the point? Lyft operators don’t know what happened what’s going on? You have no way of communication so unhappy with ma’am today. All the chairs are stopping for no reason so cold and so miserable after being stuck on chair 16 in the wind tunnel.

It helps you understand the trails and it can show you the lifts and the trails

This app was so much better 3 years ago. Now the tracking is really bad. The interface is even worse. The info is useful but the older app was better. For such expensive lift tickets, you can do so much better. Hire a better tech team with all those profits.

Beautiful clear and 17deg. Cold morning. In line at 8:15 and waited until 9:30 A.M for it to run. Then down to chair 16 and waited ~15 min to head over to chair 25 which was reported running then it changed to standby Chairs were covered with ice and the crew was standing at the bottom clearing most of them, but nothing was happening fast. It was after 10:15~ before we started up a very slow ride then my friends headed back to chair 25 while I headed over to chairs two and 10 and I took one look and decided to go home. So not much skiing for my efforts. The day reminded me of the 1980s when we had 45 minute to an hour wait for lift. Lots of people gave up skiing during those years. Probably that won’t happen again. It doesn’t look like we’re going to run out of people anytime soon …just too many! Biggest problem today was chairs not running to get people out of line(s and on the hill. Usually I like to get out early and ski for two hours or so, and then quit but because the chairs weren’t even running on time it was a waste to come early. Except I did get a good parking spot. I’m talking chairs 10, 2, 1,6 and many more. So I guess now that McCoy is gone the new management can’t handle temperature below 20° or wind of any amount. Preventative maintenance seems to be a thing over the past. Chair 16 is weird but at least it keeps moving. Chair 8 wasn’t an option. Last year was too much snow. This year is too little. But the future looks hopeful. Maybe next year a new chair one will clear things up 😏Good Luck!

They managed to make it worse than the old one.

App always freezes, and I need to completely quit and relaunch. Almost at ever use. Lift status is much improved, and many aspects are fine. The weather and conditions section is abysmal. While they time stamp certain messages, sometimes it is difficult to tell if that was from today or yesterday. The weather forecast is most confusing, and it is no different on their website. It is often difficult to tell when it was last updated, and snowfall predictions have all been removed, except for the current day. That takes a lot of fun out of reading the forecast, and for planning. It makes a big difference on whether we expect 1” of snow tomorrow, or 16”. There is zero information on that anymore.

Had a great day of skiing only for it to stop tracking. I left the app open and it just stopped. My hubby & I skied the day together & it tracked him but wouldn’t track me. Not liking the app

In the past the Mammoth website was wonderful! Now it’s horrible! I guess it’s the same people who put in the new chair 16. $22 million and what do we get —a piece of garbage? See also the zip line —wait a minute, that doesn’t work either.

I love watching that cameras at the different areas to really give me an idea what’s going on and the information is a lot better than the last time I was on the site. Thanks and have a great day!

Old app was much better, easier to navigate, and more user friendly

When I was able to get weather info. It was limited to 3 days. Would prefer a longer term forecast to guide me in trip planning.

The app is not useful for much. Much easier to just call or check ski report elsewhere.

REALLY BAD DESIGN

This app is terrible and NO i dont want to sign in so dont hustle me every time i open the app

Stupid. I turned on the app and it went straight to”Rate the App”. First time using it so you get 1 star (I would choose zero but it’s not an option) because I haven’t even used it yet. Stupid. It’s like asking, “how’s you’re food, when you didn’t even take a bite.”

The Mammoth app used to be much more functional. It didn’t look as fancy, but the screens were fast and the weather and lift report map and cams were all on point. Now that it forces you to log in it is very slow and just getting lift status lags. It is better to just open their website in Safari as the app just loads screens from that anyway which is lame.

It appears that speed tracking is no longer part of the app (or at least relocated in such a way as to make it too hard for me to find). I applaud this change! It is a move toward safety for all on the mountain and I am grateful for that. Well done MMSA!

Todays update/lift status hard to find, buried. Annoying to have to opt out of sign in on every launch. I just want to know about operations status as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I have been coming to Mammoth since the early 60s. I am 80 years old, and the mountain never ceases to satisfy, both on the hill, and in the village and Main Lodge. you are doing a great job of keeping Dave McCoy‘s vision alive. 😊

I’ve been skiing at Mammoth since 1980! It’s my favorite place to ski, I love it there!!!❤️ Nice places to stay and go to restaurants!!!

Great snowboarding trails. Lots of fun

Mammoth is the most customer-friendly resort and this app proves it. Just about everything you want or need to know and Wi-Fi/cell service is very good all over the mountain. Highly recommend this app.

The lift/chair info is good but the weather info needs to be farther out with a little more detail/info.

The app is clunky and sometimes doesn’t load any info and you have to reset the app by closing the app. The order food function is terrible with no way to cancel or modify an order after placing it, or a way to contact the restaurant. Only option you’re given is 1.800.Mammoth. The GPS tracking for slopes is terrible. I use an App called Slopes that does a much better job.

Lost electricity, very cold, used lanterns, was alone. When is it going to stop? I am snow locked in my home. No one should visit Mammoth at this time, it is dangerous. Stay home.

0-Stars. In addition to losing all of your prior years of tracking data, the redesigned app is far less functional. Life is too short to hate but I hate having downloaded this app. Don’t do it. Read the other one star reviews. …and the developers keep making the app worse. Now, my snowboard tracking app logs me out « for my protection. ». At least let me login in with Face ID.
